A revolution in support for working familiesYear 2 of the pandemic confirmed that working families have many burdens and few resources. Mariposa met that challenge and exceeded all the expectations of both our families and our supporters. We covered the cost of tuition (up to 97%) through public dollars, private grants, and generous personal donations from our committed supporters. The families of Mariposa felt the impact of that through greater stability in housing, more security in access to food, and fewer interruptions in their employment and education.
Your continued support sends a message that you believe in the working families of America and that you sympathize with those who are between the rock of too little money and the hard place of finding exceptional affordable care for their children. This is revolutionary support of and for working families. We will continue to advocate for exceptional and affordable childcare for all families – starting with the families of Mariposa! Supporters like you make it all possible. |
