Mariposa’s Circle of Friends  are a special group of sustaining supporters who give on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis. When you donate to Mariposa Family Learning Center, you are helping to build a movement of highly trained people who work tirelessly to stand up for the best interests of children who need childcare in Montopolis, one of the poorest neighborhoods in Texas. Together, we can make sure every child that attends Mariposa receives high-quality childcare and can receive the care that is needed. Our teachers have a passion for working with underserved populations, we retain teachers with above-average wages, commit to low child-teacher ratios and extensive staff training, and use a dual-language curriculum.

Any donor who contributes ANNUALLY $600 or greater to Mariposa Family Learning Center is recognized in our Circle of Friends for their generosity. It costs an average of $14,400 a year for a child to have childcare in Mariposa.
